when you have a log that has the same base you can combine them
the exponents infront have to move and they go above the log number like in your case 64 16 and 4 and it will change to be the power of something
logbase8 64^2/3 - logbase8 16^1/2 + logbase8 4^3
now we need to simplify
logbase8 16 - logbase8 4 + logbase8 64
now since the base is the same we can combine them
if it is addition you multiply them but if it is subtraction you divide it. i will do the multiply part first
logbase8 16 - logbase8 256
now then you divide
logbase8 256/8
logbase8 32
