Question 132614: The graph of the quadratic function has vertex (3,-2). If the zero of the graph is -7, then what is the other zero??????
Answer by mathispowerful(115)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the vertex is (3, -2).
It means the graph is symmetric about x=3.
One zero is -7, that means x1=-7
The distance between -7 and 3 is 10,
the other zero must have the same distance but
to the right of x=3,
So the second zero is 13.
