The first thing I did was to graph the two given points.
Point (0,2) tells me that x = 0 and y = 2.
So, if each unit (or space) on graph paper represents 1 foot, the top of the ramp is the same length as the y coordinate or 2 feet. Go ahead and graph (0,2) and you will see what I mean.
Your second question is not too clear.
Do you want to know the distance from the bottom of the building to point H?
OR...do you want to know the distance from points G to H?
