THE SOLUTION FUNCITON IS, X=-b+ - SQUARE UNDER b SQ. 2 -4ac/2a.okay now how do I fiqure out the solution? I'm stuck at this p.for ex.x sq.2 minus 4x + 10=0,using the discriminant function i've got ( -4)sq.2 -4(1)(10)=24.i know how to set the solution function up (X=-b+ - SQUARE UNDER b SQ. 2 -4ac/2a) x=-4+ - sq.root4 sq.2 minus 4(1)(10). now where do i go from there.i don't understand how to first solve it. do i use a calculator for that part or not?
well I reallywould appreciate if you can help me out with my problem , it would mean alot to me, since my test on this is on friday, at my school!
