Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the width of a rectangle is less than 27 cm in lenght.the area is 90 cm^2. find the length and width of the rectangle
---------------------------------
Area = length*width
width < 27
Multiply both sides by length to get:
length * width < 27*length
Substitute to get:
Area < 27*length
90 < 27*length
length > 90/27
length > 3 1/3 cm
width < 27 cm
