Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(N-1)N(N+1)=210
N-1,N,N+1 ARE 3 CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS WHOSE AVERAGE IS N
THEREFORE 210/3=70=N
N-1=69, N=70 & N=1-71.
PROOF
69+70+71=210
210=210

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(n-1)(n)(n+1)=210
n(n^2-1)-210 = 0
n^3-n-210 = 0
----
I graphed it to find n = 6
