The area of the triangle is 568 square inches. What is the base length and height?

Let the height be x;

then the base is  4x+7.


The area equation is


     = 568.


Simplify


    x*(4x+7) = 1136.


Transform it to the standard form quadratic equation and solve using the quadratic formula.
