Hi,
The volume of a gas in a container at a constant temperature varies inversely as the pressure.
V = k/P
The volume is 26 cubic centimeters at a pressure of 11 pounds.
26 = k/11
26*11 = k = 286
when the volume is 43 cubic centimeters, find pressure (it will be less as Volume increases)
P = k/V = 286/43 lbs
(Answer is between 6 and 7)
