Question 1153660: 1) A paper plane is thrown from a window 20 feet from the ground. The formula h(t)=-4x^(2)+24x+20 gives the planes height over time. Rewrite the equation in an equivalent form that would reveal the maximum.
2) Jeff has five less than twice the number of clients that Kenan has. The product of the number of clients they have is 322. Write and equation to represent this situation where c represents the number of clients Kenan has.
3) The equation, y = -2(x-20)^(2)+800 represents the area of a concrete patio, y, as a result of its length, x. What length would yield the maximum area?

I will answer your question 3) ONLY.
The answer is x= 20. Then y = 800.
At any other value of x, you will have LESSER VALUE of y(x),
by subtracting a positive value from 800.
Also, one more advise, or, better to say, THE RULE to follow.
ONE and ONLY ONE problem/question per post.
It is the rule, the policy and the requirement of this forum.
