The algorithm works in this way:
1) Take the coefficient at the variable of the degree 1.
(in your case it is " 8 ").
2) Take HALF of it.
(in your case the half is " 4 ").
3) Last step is to SQUARE this half.
What you get, it will be the constant term you are looking for.
The algorithm that I presented you, works only for the case, when the leading coefficient at is equal to 1.
But it is exactly your case.
