53. The driver of a car puts on the brakes and skids through a red light at an intersection. The length of the skid mark depends on the speed of the car before the brakes are applied. The investigating officer uses the table on the next page to determine the car's speed.

I had to draw the curve for the data:

The curve represented by the graph is a quadratic function. The relationship is non-linear.
However, I am stuck on the second question which is:
B) The skid mark was 104 m. Estimate the speed of the car.

I am not sure what formula I should write to solve this problem. Any help would be very appreciated.

A quick check using some of your data suggests ; using x for the speed and y for the skidding length.
