Question 1089640: Trying to determine the size of a rectangle when I was only given the square
Feet. I know only one dimension due to city regulations.
Height of fence is 6 feet. Square footage is 1,656. Need to determine length. Cannot remember how to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need one more piece of information,
like the ratio of the width to the length of
the rectangle.
All you have is:
ft2
So You could have any length you want and
then find the width, or vice versa.
Hope this helps
