Complete the square on the x-terms and keep the equation balanced:
x^2-5x+(5/2)^2 = y-3 + (5/2)^2
Factor to get:
(x-(5/2))^2 = y+13/4

Sketch as a vertical line passing thru all point where x = 5/2
