Question 10771: Solve for t: 2t+7 is less than t+15 and 5t+6 is greater than or equal to 2t+12
please help me i really don't understand how to do this. thanks so much.

Answer by askmemath(368)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2t+7 is less than t+15
Subtracting t from both sides
2t+7-t is less than t+15 - t
t+7 is less than 15
Subtracting fm 7 from both sides
t+7-7 is less than 15-7
t is less than 8

Can you do it for this one?? Follow the same idea as above.Bring the terms containing t to one side and take the rest of the terms to the other side.
5t+6 is greater than or equal to 2t+12
