Question 1076983: Hello can someone help me with this please,
One of the earliest known quadratic equations come from a 3800-year-old document from acient Egypt that now sits in the Berlin museum in Germany . Translated into Modern mathematical notation the document now known as the Berlin Papryus poses the following set of equations
x^2+y^2=100 Y=3/4x
Solve for the values of x and y

I will not work out the math for you.

You have the following:

x^2+y^2 = 100 y = 3/4x

Replace y in the equation with 3/4x.

x^2 + (3/4x)^2 = 100

x^2 + 9/16x^2 = 100

Take it from there.

Hint: The graph is a parabola opening upward.
