Question 1075214: What is the quadratic equation in standard form with set of points (0,-4) (1,0) (2,-2)
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ax^2+bx+c=y
x=0, y=-4 so c=-4
x=1 y=a+b-4=0
a+b=4
----------------
x=-2
4a+2b-4=-2
4a+2b=2
a=4-b
16-4b+2b=2
-2b=-14
b=7
a=-3
-3x^2+7x-4=y
