2y^2+{5(2y/3)-10}y=1; 2y^2+(10/3)y^2-10y-1=0
(16/3)y^2-10y-1=0
16y^2-30y-3=0
y=(1/32)(30+/- sqrt (900+192))
y=(1/32)(30+/-33.05)
y=(1/32)63.05)=1.970
y=(1/32)(-3.05)=-0.0953
put into second equation
3x-3.94=-6
3x=-2.06
x=-0.687
try both in top equation
7.76+5(-.687*1.97)=7.76-6.767=0.99 within range with rounding error.
