(n-2)^2 + n^2 = (n+2)^2 + 9
2n^2 - 4n + 4 = n^2 + 4n + 13
n^2 - 8n - 9 = 0
(n+1)*(n-9) = 0
n = 9

x+2 = next number
x+4 = final number
