Tell whether each statement is true or false.
A. -3 3/4 + 1= -3 2/3 - (-1)
left side = -3 3/4 +1 = -15/4 + 1 = -11/4
right side = -3 2/3 - (-1) = -11/3 + (3/3) = -8/3
Ans: false
------------------------------------------
B. -12 7/12 + (-9 5/6) = 3 7/12
left side = -151/12 -59/6 = -151/12 - 118/12 = -269/12
right side = 43/12
Ans: false
-----------------------
C. 6 2/5 - (-7 1/10)= 13 1/2
left side = 32/5 + 71/10 = 64/10+71/10 = 135/10
right side = 27/2 = 135/10
Ans: true
