Like this it's easy ...but not quadratic:

3x+4x-15 = 0
7x-15 = 0 | +15 on both sides
7x = 15 | :7 on both sides
x = 7.5

As you titled this problem quadratic, I suppose there's something squared though. Please post it again if that's the case.
