Question 1038465: Write the equation of the quadratic function with roots 0 and 2 and a vertex at (1, 5)
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It has the form a(x-1))^2+5=y
When x=2, y=0
1a+5=0
a=-5
-------or when x=0, y=0
a(-1^2)+5=0, same result
-5(x-1)^2+5=0
-5x^2+10x=0
-5x(x-2)=0
x=0,2
