I need help with this: 2x^2+5=77 Thanks

1.   =   --->  (distract 5 from both sides)  --->

2.   = .    --->  (divide both sides by 5)  --->

3.   = .      --->  (take the square root from both sides)  --->

4.  x = +/-6.

Answer.  x = 6  and/or  x = -6.
