Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x^2 + x + 2 = 0
Use the quadratic formula to get:
x = [-1 +- sqrt(1-4*5*2)]/10
x = [-1 +- sqrt(-39)]/10
x = [-1 + isqrt(39)]/10 or x = [-1 - isqrt(39)]/10
----------------------------------
and
2x^2 + 6x + 12 = 0
x^2+3x+6=0
x = [-3 +- sqrt(9-4*1*6)]/2
x = [-3 + isqrt(15)]/2 or x = [-3 -isqrt(15)]/2
--------------------------------------
