Question 1007671: how do i make an equation with the solutions being -3i 3i and 4

Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If these are the roots, then
(x + 3i)(x - 3i)(x - 4) = 0
is the equation in question.
Just multiply this out and get
(x^2 + 9)(x - 4) =
x^3 - 4x^2 + 9x - 36 = 0
