Question 897528: I am trying to help my son by checking his math homework but I do not know how to do this problem "Bella types at a constant rate of 42 words per min. Is the number of words she can type proportational to the number of minutes she types? Create a table to determine the relationship." The table has Minutes on first row: then the first box is 1; second box is 2; third box is 3; fourth box is 6 and last box is 60. Number of words are on the second row and thats the part he must complete?

I am trying to help my son by checking his math homework but I do not know how to do this problem "Bella types at a constant rate of 42 words per min. Is the number of words she can type proportational to the number of minutes she types? Create a table to determine the relationship." The table has Minutes on first row: then the first box is 1; second box is 2; third box is 3; fourth box is 6 and last box is 60. Number of words are on the second row and thats the part he must complete?

The number of words she can type is DIRECTLY proportional to the number of minutes she types. In other words,
the more words she types, the more time she takes, and vice-versa, or the less words she types, the less time
she takes, and vice-versa.
