You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cross multiply.

first add -12 and -5
you get -17.
now you have 2/t=t/-17

so 2(-17)=t^2
-34=t^2
t=square root(-34)

that goes into imaginary numbers (i)
so t=square root(34)i

how do I solve
2/t = t/-5-12

2%2Ft+=+t%2F-+5+-+12

-+10+=+t%5E2+%2B+60t ----- Multiplying by LCD, - 5t

t%5E2+%2B+60t+%2B+10+=+0

Solving using the quadratic equation, t = highlight_green%28-0.16713222%29, or highlight_green%28-59.8329%29

You can do the check!!
