Let the number of workers in the company be x.
This means that the number of non officer workers is x - 15
The total salary will be 95x
The officer salary will be 15 times 525 = 7875
The non officer salary total will be (x - 15) times 85 ie 85x - 1275
so 95x = 7875 + 85x -1275
95x = 85x + 6600
10x = 6600
so x = 660
