Question 605741: The ratio of men to women working for a company 6 to 5. If there are 253 employees total, how many women work for the company?
Answer by mathie123(224) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We know that the ratio Men: Women is 6:5.
This means that for every 6 parts men there are 5 parts women (or for every 6 men there are 5 women).
Using this information we know there are parts in total.
Now
So each part is 23 units.
If there are 5 parts women then all together there are
women.
Hopefully this helps:)
