Question 503433: 28/z = 24/z-5
What's the answer I have two and I need to know.

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20054)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 =

Cross-multiply or multiply through by LCD = z(z-5)
Either way you get:

28(z-5) = 24z

28z - 140 = 24z
      28z = 24z + 140
       4z = 140
        z = 35

There is only one solution, 35.
