Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A 14 inch pizza for $10.50 or 16 in pizza for $11.95. Use 3.14 for pie
14 "Area = 3.14*7*7 = 153.86 in^2 --- cost 10.50
for 1 sq.in 10.50/153.86= $0.068 /in^2
16 inch pizza for 11.95
16" area = 3.14*8*8=200.96 in^2
for 1 in^2 11.95/200.96 =$0.059/in^2
so you know which is a better deal
