You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The instructor has learned that for the 30 students in her afternoon class, the ratio of student who do not own a computer to those who do is 2 to 1. How many students in the class own their own computer?
Let the number of students with computers be "x"
Then the number of students without computers is "2x"
EQUATION:
# with + # without = 30
x+2x=30
3x=30
x=10 (number with computers)
