Question 264134: I have one question,
Miracle wants to sell a 40 fluid oz bottle at the same unit rate of the 12 fluid oz bottle (hint: The 12 fluid oz is $1.32 a bottle) how much will she charge for the 40 fluid oz?

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12/40=1.32/X CROSS MULTIPLY
12X=40*1.32
12X=52.8
X=52.8/12
X=$4.40 SHOULD BE THE PRICE OF THE 40 OZ. BOTTLE.
PROOF:
12/40=1.32/4.40
12*4.40=40*1.32
52.8=52.8
