Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2=-12x-3
2x^2+12x+3=0

x=(-12+-sqrt[12^2-4*2*3])/2*2
x=(-12+-sqrt[144-24)/4
x=(-12+-sqrt120)/4
x=(-12+-10.95)/4
x=(-12+10.95)/4
x=-1.05/4
x=-.261 ans.
x=(-12-10.95)/4
x=-22.95/4
x=5.7375 ans.
