I believe the proportion you want is this one:
2/3 = 6/x
Let x = perimeter of larger figure
Can you solve for x now?

2/3 = 6 meters/x meters
You got x = 9.
Let's see if that's correct.
Replace x with 9 and reduce the right side fraction.
2/3 = 6 meters/9 meters
2/3 = 2/3...It checks!
So, the larger perimeter is 9 meters.
