do you have something specific in mind a ratio, by itself, is just one number over another such as
:
1/2 which is 1 to 2..... or 3/4.... 3 to 4

if you have x/2 then the ration varies depending on x. or you could have x/3=5
in which you would solve for x......in this case x=15

you could have in which you are also solving for x. There are so many variations.
