Set up an equation with both units.
Then divide (depending on which conversion factor you want)
Example:
8 yits = 75 plops
.

.
8 nits/75 plops
(8/75) nits/plops(conversion factor from plops to nits)
or
75 plops/8 nits
(75/8) plops/nits (conversion factor from nits to plops)

.
.
Real units
1000 mm=1 m
1000 mm/m : Conversion factor from meters to millimeters
(1/1000) m/mm : Converstion factor from millimeters to meters
