First, find 150% of 5. You'd get 7.5. Then, make your proportion. Here's what it should look like:

7.5/5=9/x

x=Jacob's brother's height

Cross multiply and then divide 45 by the number next to x, 7.5.

You get, x=6. So Jacob's brother is 6 feet tall.
