x = some positive real number
x > 0

The ratio 7:6:2 scales up to 7x:6x:2x

7x = weight of strawberries
6x = weight of grapes
2x = weight of blackberries

Their sum is 5 pounds total
7x+6x+2x = 5
15x = 5
x = 5/15
x = 1/3

Therefore,
7x = 7*(1/3) = 7/3 = 2 & 1/3
6x = 6*(1/3) = 2
2x = 2*(1/3) = 2/3

Answer: 2 & 1/3 pounds of strawberries.
Equivalent to 7/3 pounds or roughly 2.333 pounds.
