You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Are you saying his increase is (10%2F11) of his current salary?
That's my assumption here.
P%2810%2F11%29=600
P=6600%2F10
P=660
So now he makes,
P%5Bnew%5D=660%2B600=1260

.
the income of a man is increased in the ratio 10:11. if the increase in his income is 600 rupees , find his new income
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P%5Bold%5D%2FP%5Bnew%5D = 10%2F11   --->
P%5Bnew%5D = %2811%2F10%29%2AP%5Bold%5D.         (1)
P%5Bnew%5D+-+P%5Bold%5D = 600           (2)
Substitute (1) into (2) replacing P%5Bnew%5D. You will get
%2811%2F10%29%2AP%5Bold%5D+-+P%5Bold%5D = 600  --->
%281%2F10%29%2AP%5Bold%5D = 600  ---
P%5Bold%5D = 6000   --->  P%5Bnew%5D = %2811%2F10%29%2A6000 = 6600.
Answer.  The new income is 6600 rupees.
