8 = -8x + 4( 4 + 2x )

==> 8 = -8x + 4*4 + 4 * 2x


==> 8 = -8x + 16 + 8x

==> 8 = 16, which is wrong ( since -8x and +8x get cancelled.)


So You cannot proceed this equation further.
