If all 300 tickets were sold at rs5, the total would be rs1500
The actual sale is rs1250
rs1500 - rs1250 = rs250
The difference between rs5 and rs2.5 = rs2.5
= 100
100 tickets were sold at rs2.5 for a total of rs250
The remaining 200 tickets were sold at rs5 for a total of rs1000
rs250 + rs1000 = rs1250
