Given perimeter = 32 cm
perimeter of a square = 4a ( a is the length of the side oa a square)
so 4a = 32
therefore a = 8
+Diagonal%5E2+=+a%5E2+%2B+a%5E2(by Pythagorean Theorem)
+Diagonal+=+sqrt%28a%5E2+%2B+a%5E2%29(by Pythagorean Theorem)
+Diagonal+=+sqrt%282a%5E2%29
+Diagonal+=+a%2Asqrt%282%29
Now put the value of a
+Diagonal+=+8sqrt%282%29
Diagonal = 11.3 cm.
