Let represent How many gallons of a 25% chemical solution must be added
Mixing the 25% and 50% to get 30% solution:
*** |Solve for x
.20*60gal/.05 = x = 240gal, the gallons of 25% solution to add
CHECKING our answer***
60gal + 30gal = .30*300gal = 90gal
