Question 827228: Find the constant of integration, C if y=∫(9x^2+2x-9 )dx and the curve passes through the point (3,8)
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20054)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

  y = 3x³+x²-9x+C

Substitute (x,y) = (3,8)

  8 = 3(3)³+(3)²-9(3)+C
  8 = 3(27)+9-27+C
  8 = 81+9-27+C
  8 = 63+C
-55 = C
