Question 765131: 2.5 litres of water is poured into a rectangular container .find the height that the water will rise if the area of the container is 80cm
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2.5 litres = 2500cm^3
Volume of rectangle = length * breadth * height
Length * breadth = Area = 80cm
So, 80cm * height = 2500cm^3
height = 2500/80
height = 31.25cm
Hope this helps.
