Question 759935: Determine whether the pair of lines is parallel, perpendicular, or neither 3x+y=7, -2×+6y=6
Answer by sachi(548) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+y=7
y=-3x+7 so the slope=-3=m1
-2×+6y=6
y=2/6x+6/6=1/3x+1 so the slope =1/3=m2
as m1*m2=-1
then both the lines are perpendicular
