Solving; solve each equation for the indicated variable.
Question; y: x=3y-2
I don't know what to do?
================
It says "solve for y," so get y on one side of the equal sign by itself.
================================
x=3y-2
Add 2
x + 2 = 3y
Divide by 3
(x+2)/3 = y
y = (x + 2)/3
or
y = (1/3)x + 2/3
