Question 758168: one number is 5 times a first number. a third number is 100 more than the first number. if the sum of the three numbers is 331, find the numbers
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First number = x
Second number = 5x
Third number = x + 100
x + 5x + (x + 100) = 331
7x + 100 = 331
7x = 231
x = 33
First number = 33
Second number = 165
Third number = 133
Total 331
Hope this helps.
