Question 753143: x2-3x=0
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x² - 3x = 0

Take out common factor x

x(x - 3) = 0

There are two factors, x and (x - 3).
The zero-factor property tells us that either
one can equal zero.

If x = 0, then that's one solution.

If x - 3 = 0, then x = 3 is a second solution.

Answers: x = 0, and x = 3
