Question 731407: the capacity of an RD bottle is 50cc and its mass is 24.5g when empty. find its mass when it is filled with a liquid of density 800kg/m^3
Answer by josgarithmetic(39621) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You would want to use the density in grams per cubic centimeter.
1 m = 100 cm
1 kg = 1000 g
(kg/m^3)(g/kg)(m/cm)(m/cm)(m/cm)
= g/cm^2
Bottle is filled to 50 cm^2, so this is grams.
Combined weight of bottle and filled contents is grams.
